Through mutual understanding, compassion, and care, we build.

But first—turn up the feedback—here’s who I am.

I’m really glad you’re here. My name is Zachary (Zack) Halpern, and I’m a therapist who shows up first and foremost as a real person, someone who identifies as a cis, Jewish man, a lifelong learner, and someone who deeply values bringing people together.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me running, tending to my garden, and making music with friends. I feel inspired by my friends and loved ones, and wild and natural places.

Learning and growing is my highest priority.

I know how heavy life can feel when you’re carrying things on your own—or when the conflicts in your closest relationships leave you feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or stuck in the same painful patterns. Therapy with me isn’t about me “fixing” you. It’s about creating a space where you don’t have to go through it alone.

In our work together, we’ll sit with every part of your story, your day-to-day struggles, your relationship conflicts, your history, and even the pieces of yourself that feel out of reach right now. We won’t sweep the hard stuff aside. Instead, we’ll face it together, with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based strategies you can take into your daily life and relationships. My role is to earn your trust, walk beside you, and help you see the strength you already carry, even in the parts that feel messy, complicated, or overwhelming.

If you’ve been looking for space to be seen fully–messy parts, strong parts, and everything in between, I’d love to meet you.
