Individual & Couples Therapy · Relational Trauma · Denver, CO

Meet Zack Halpern

MSW · LSW · Social Work Candidate · Denver, CO

I work with young adults, individuals, and couples who carry the weight of relationships that left them feeling unseen. Together, we explore what keeps happening beneath the surface that leaves you feeling stuck.

Even if I’m not the right therapist for you, I’ll help you find someone who is.

The people I do my best work with

You've worked hard to get here
You're high-achieving, deeply self-aware, and still feel like something is missing. You've done everything right and the relationships that matter most keep hurting in ways you can't fully explain.
A thousand paper cuts
The pain didn't come from one moment. It came from friendships, romantic relationships, and family dynamics that left you carrying wounds that individually seemed small, but together made a world of difference.
You deserve more than a diagnosis
You've been given technically correct information about yourself that never quite fit. You're looking for a therapist who treats your lived experience as the starting point, not a footnote.

Now that you know a bit about me, here’s how I work:

My community is the reason why I got to adulthood, and It transformed the way I view healing.

I work with individuals and couples who are carrying the weight of relationships that have left them feeling unseen and who are ready to understand those patterns, even if they’re not sure where to start.

What I know about you is:

I'm interested in where you came from. The people who shaped you, the communities that formed you, the relationships that taught you what love and conflict and closeness are supposed to feel like. That history walks in with you. In my experience, it's usually where the most important work lives.

How I work:

In our work together, we’ll sit with every part of your story, your day-to-day struggles, your relationship conflicts, your history, and even the pieces of yourself that feel out of reach right now. We won’t sweep the hard stuff aside. Instead, we’ll face it together, with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based strategies you can take into your daily life and relationships. My role is to earn your trust, walk beside you, and help you see the strength you already carry, even in the parts that feel messy, complicated, or overwhelming.

What I believe:

I believe deeply in the power of community, because It is what lead me to becoming a therapist and the community we build, I believe that conflict doesn’t mean that you inevitably are doing something wrong in your relationships. It means there is a pattern you are continuing to find and want to create a new way of being and existing in your relationships.

When I sit with clients who are in conflict with themselves or those they love most, It is the most meaningful part of my day.
