Couples and Family Therapy

  • Couples Therapy

What would It be like to have a therapist who works with you to strengthen your relationship so you can feel more supported and understood by your partner?

It is important to get a strong understanding of the foundation of your relationship and build strategies and tools to help you and your partner support each other in day to day life and your larger relationship goals!

  • Family Therapy

What does family mean to you? Who do you hold as family and how can you strengthen your ability to communicate and overcome conflict?

When working with families, It is important to recognize what foundation holds you together and how your bonds can be strengthened. In our therapy work, It is so important to recognize what causes conflict, whether It be communication issues or anything else. Let’s explore this together!

Family Therapy

The families that we grow up with and build impact the way that we view ourselves and our communities. In family therapy, It is important to me that we explore the ways that your family histories and familial trauma impact the way that you understand the intention, emotional safety, and so much more!

As family therapists, we use strategies from Satir, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and more to help build connections between you and your family members and recognize how you experience each other impacts the way you build trust with one another. These strategies provide a jumping-off point, rather than being my sole means of working.

Couples Therapy

Just like individuals, couples come in many different forms and hold a different story. In couples therapy, it is important that we not only explore the strategies and tools that impact day to day life. We also explore the ways that our social systems impact your relationship and the way you communicate.

Are there external factors that impact your relationship? Such as a history of infidelity? previous relationship trauma? or systemic oppression? If so, couples therapy with our team is a great place to process trauma through understanding the stories that led to this place and tangible strategies that will help provide healing and growth.
