Honoring your story, together.

But first, here’s a bit about me.

Hello, my name is Eden Asgedom Mengistu!

I’m currently in the final year of my Master of Social Work internship, but I bring over twenty years of experience in the field, having worked in both mental health and medical hospital settings. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from all walks of life.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my children and family-cooking, going for a walk, watching movies, and playing games.

We are thrilled to have Eden on our team!

She brings so much experience to our practice!

My supervisor is Josephine Ampaw, LCSW, MFTC, MA

I know that stress and life transitions affect each of us in different ways. Whether you're grieving, facing relationship challenges, or carrying complex experiences. I offer a safe and compassionate space where all of you are welcome. A space that’s culturally aware, non-judgmental, and focused on your growth.

Therapy isn’t about being “fixed.” It’s about coming home to yourself, reclaiming the parts of you that may have been silenced, dismissed, or stretched too thin by life. And the fact that you're even reading this tells me something important: you're already doing the work. Reaching out is a brave and powerful step toward deeper healing and self-trust.

You don’t have to do this alone.

I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that honors your lived experience and supports your goals. My role isn’t to lead or push you, it's to walk with you, listen deeply, and create a space where healing feels possible.

Your past doesn’t have to define your future. You're allowed to grow, rest, and feel whole on your own terms.
